    Session Objective: Learn about complex concepts of financial statements such as accrued payables, work in process and non-operating income. 

    Outline:

    1. How are cash and accrual accounting different?
    2. Why is my balance sheet so complicated?
    3. What is depreciation?
    4. Why are prepaid expenses assets?
    5. How do I account for intangible assets?
    6. What are retained earnings?
    7. How are earnings per share determined?
    8. What is non-operating income?

    Who Should Attend: 

    Owners, senior leaders, finance teams, accountants, bookkeepers, Board members and directors involved in financial oversight, reporting or reviewing financial statements.
