FAW Level 1 & Level 2

Registration

  • Registration fee for both workshops for those who work at a member school in good standing. A member school may register two guests for free as long as they work at the same school.
  • None Members may register themselves as well as a guest. There is a fee for each attendee.

FAW Level 1&2

This year we are combining our FAW 1&2 into one package. The FAW Level 1 will be held on June 27th and FAW Level 2 on June 29th.  The policy team at SABC will attend one or both of the workshops depending on the final scope of content.

FAW level 1 focuses on the role of the FA and the regulatory policies that impact how the job is done.  We will also cover funding options beyond student aide.  SABC policy folks will also be there to discuss new policy changes and answer any questions.

FAW level 2 focuses on repayment.  Both policy and best practices will be covered to assist  FAs in supporting the mission critical repayment of student loans.

Both of these workshops have been updated with the latest policy revisions and will reflect current best practice as well.  We will also provide an update on the SIMS portal pilot project.
